A poor experience
This 'tragedy' took place last Friday.
After work, me and my bf went to Seah Imm Food Centre for dinner. We walked around to source for food to our liking and finally settled for a bee hoon/fried rice stall.
Bf happily selected his choice of 'liao' and conveniently told me: "Hey you pay first k, i need to go draw money later."
"But I'm not sure if I have enough cash. What if I don't?" I said.
No significant response from him. I took out my wallet to check my cash. To my horror, I saw only $3plus in it. My reactions caught his attention and he gasped.
Trying to stay calm, I paid for his plate of fried rice and went on to check my shillings. Another $3 plus in my coin pouch. It was not enough for our drinks. Probably only cover what I am going to eat. Bf asked the stall lady for location of the nearest ATM.
"Oh, nearest is at Habourfront loh.." she exclaimed.
Bf decided to go to the car to dig for shillings. I sat down with the 2 plates of food, feeling quite pathetic. It was not long when he came back and in his hands, there were jingling coins. Slowly he laid the coins and began counting.

And I guess at a point of time, he was afraid that someone might jus rob us.

Nevertheless, we managed to buy a complete meal with all the shillings. We even shared an extra plate of carrot cake. Burp!
Moral of the story: Always make sure you have enough cash before ordering your food, especially when the nearest ATM is not near!

I did not see her around, maybe she's in the classified files of their system. Gimme some time to hack. :D
